Share a board so other Poppy users can edit it with you in real time. Only the board owner can change sharing.
Share a board
Open the board.
Click Share in the board header (on desktop it sits right after the board name; on smaller screens it is top-right).
Stay on the Share tab. Under Permissions, set Anyone with a link to Can Edit.
Click Copy Link. If nothing is shared yet the button reads Make Public and Copy Link and does both in one click.
Send the link. People you invite need a paid Poppy AI account to edit.
The Share icon changes from a people icon to a globe once the board is public. To stop sharing, set Anyone with a link back to Has No Access.
Share with your team instead
If you are on a team, you can give the whole team access without a public link:
Click Share on the board.
Under Team, pick your team (choose No Team to keep it private to you).
Set Team Members to Can Edit or Has No Access.
You can also move a board into a team from the home page: open the board's ... menu and choose Move to your team name. AI on a team board uses the team's credits.
Open a board someone shared with you
Sign in to Poppy and open the link.
After you open it once, the board appears on your home page under the Shared tab (next to All and Starred). It also shows in All, marked as shared.
If you are not signed in, you can still open the link and view the board, but not edit it or use its chats. The header shows Preview Only.
Make your own copy of a shared board
If someone shared a board with you using a link, you can make your own copy of it.
Open the shared board link and sign in to Poppy if asked.
Look for the Public Board banner at the top right.
Click Make a copy.
Poppy opens your copy. It is saved to your own boards, in the workspace you are in (personal or a team).
Your copy is independent: changes you make do not change the original. Chat conversations are not copied.
You will see Make a copy when: the owner has set Anyone with a link to Can Edit, you are signed in, and the board is not a template. Templates use the Use Template button instead.
Don't see it? Ask the owner to set Anyone with a link to Can Edit, or to share the board as a template. A board that is not public can only be copied by its owner or members of its team.
More ways to copy boards: Copy and Duplicate.
What collaborators can and can't do
Collaborators with a paid account can:
Edit everything on the board: add content, groups, text and chats, and connect sources to chats.
See all chat conversations on the board.
Make their own copy: open the board and click Make a copy in the Public Board banner, or use Duplicate from the card's ... menu on the Shared tab. Chat conversations are not copied.
Collaborators can't:
Change sharing settings. Only the owner sees Share.
Restore an older version from History. Only the owner can restore.
