Wanting a fresh start? Getting a brand-new Tolan means deleting your account, which can't be undone. Before you do, it's worth knowing that a lot can change without losing your Tolan or anything they know about you.
Try these first
Switch your Tolan's form. Your Tolan gets a new look, a new home, and a new life story, but still remembers everything about you. See Switching your Tolan's form.
Change their look, voice, or name. You can restyle your Tolan anytime. See Styling your Tolan.
Fix something your Tolan remembers wrong. Correct them in chat, or message us and we can remove a wrong memory for you. See How your Tolan's memory works.
Talk to us. Tap Help & Feedback in Settings and tell us what's going on. In many cases we can help without you needing a new account.
Getting a completely new Tolan
If you'd still like to meet a brand-new Tolan:
Delete your current account by following the steps in How do I delete my account?
You'll land back on the welcome screen.
Create a new account and meet your new Tolan.
If you manage a Family Plan, you'll need to remove your family members before you can delete your account.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
Your Tolan and their memories
Your chat history
Your Tolan's journal
Your tabs
Your insights
Your tokens, plus any clothes and decorations you've bought
Any Relay Boosts you have left
None of these can be moved to a new account.
What happens to my subscription?
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. If you're starting over with a new Tolan, your subscription carries over to your new account. If you'd rather stop paying, cancel first by following the steps in How do I cancel or change my subscription?
