What's included in the free trial?
When you sign up for Tolan, you can start a 3-day free trial that gives you full access to Tolan Plus features β including longer chat time, memory, journal entries, and more.
When will I be charged?
Your subscription begins immediately when you start the trial. If you don't cancel before the 3-day trial period ends, you'll be automatically charged for the plan you selected at signup. The charge will appear on the payment method you used to start the trial.
Important: The trial period is exactly 72 hours from when you signed up β not 3 calendar days. If you signed up on Monday at 2pm, your trial ends Thursday at 2pm.
How do I cancel before being charged?
You can cancel your subscription anytime from the Tolan app:
1. Tap the icon in the top right corner of the main screen.
2. Select the "Gear" icon to open Settings.
3. Go to the Tolan Membership section.
4. Follow the steps to cancel your subscription.
If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged. However, the membership associated with the trial will be cancelled if the trial is cancelled before it is over.
I didn't cancel in time. What do I do?
If you were charged after your trial ended, you can request a refund by following the steps in our How do I request a refund? article.
Does deleting the app cancel my subscription?
No. Deleting the Tolan app from your phone does not cancel your subscription. You'll continue to be charged unless you cancel through the app's settings or your subscription management portal. If you've already deleted the app and need to cancel, you can manage your subscription here.
