Printable worksheets give students an additional way to practice their spelling or vocabulary words through handwriting, crossword, and fill-in-the-blank activities.
These worksheets are designed for additional practice and are not scored within Power Spelling. Teachers can choose to review or score completed worksheets separately if desired.
NOTE: Printable worksheets are available to Plus Plan users.
How to Create a Printable
Click a word list section in the left menu.
Click the underlined title of the word list you want to use.
Select Download Printable.
Use the drop-down menu to choose the type of worksheet you want to create.
Click Download.
Printable Options:
Handwriting
Create a handwriting practice worksheet using the words from your list.
Choose between:
Print
Cursive
When using Print, you can also choose:
Traceable words with dotted letters for students to trace
Solid model words for students to copy
The number of words shown on each page: 10, 15, or 20
Crossword Puzzle
Create a crossword puzzle using the words from your list.
Crossword printables can be created for lists containing up to 30 words.
Fill in the Blank
Create a worksheet where students fill in each blank with the correct word from the word list.
