It’s much more affordable than live tutoring apps like Cambly or Preply, and way more flexible. Also, since our avatars have real personalities, it feels more like chatting with a friend than sitting through a lesson.
Is Praktika free to use?
Yes! Praktika offers a free version that lets you practice English with limited features. To access it, tap the “X” in the top-left corner of the subscription screen when prompted. You’ll be matched with three AI tutors, but advanced tools and flexible pacing are reserved for paid plans.
Is there a free trial for the paid plan?
Yes! Enjoy a 7‑day free trial where you can try everything: unlimited speaking, instant feedback, and all avatars. You’ll get a reminder two days before the trial ends.

How do I cancel or change plans?
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you’ll need to cancel or change your plan in your device’s subscription settings. Praktika can’t cancel in-app purchases on your behalf.
For website purchases, you can cancel your subscription by logging into the Stripe Subscriptions Dashboard.
Can I get a refund?
We offer a refund for purchases made on Android and through the Praktika web funnel (using Stripe) if the request is made within 48 hours of the charge. To request a refund, please fill out the form on this page, and our team will assist you. Refund eligibility is subject to review, and processing times may vary.
What if I miss the 48-hour window for my Android or WebFunnel purchase?
Unfortunately, purchases that are beyond the 48-hour window are non-refundable. We encourage you to review your purchases promptly to ensure they meet your expectations.
Do you offer refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store?
We do not offer any refund options for subscriptions or purchases made through the Apple App Store. All such transactions are non-refundable through our company.
Is it still possible to get a refund for an Apple App Store purchase?
While we cannot process refunds for Apple App Store purchases directly, you may, however, send a refund request to Apple. Please be aware that Apple holds the sole discretion to either approve or deny your request. We do not have any influence over their decision.
How can I request a refund from Apple?
You will need to contact Apple's support team directly to request a refund for an App Store purchase. To request a refund:
Go to Apple's Refund Request Page and sign in.
Click “I’d like to”, then select “Request a refund.”
Choose the reason for your refund request and click Next.
Select the app, subscription, or item you want refunded, then click Submit.
Wait 24 to 48 hours for Apple to update you on your request.

Search your email for a receipt from Apple.
If you're part of a Family Sharing group, sign in as the family organizer to request a refund.
