Refunds for Android Users

This article explains how to request a refund for a Praktika subscription purchased through an Android device.

If you subscribed to Praktika using your Android device, your transaction was most likely processed directly by Google. Therefore, refund requests must be handled through the Google Play refund system. Google typically makes a decision within 1 to 4 business days.


Requesting a refund via Google Play

You can usually request a refund directly through your Google account if it has been less than 48 hours since the transaction:

  1. Open the Google Play app.

  2. Tap you profile picture in the top right corner.

  3. Go to Payments and Subscriptions.

  4. Tap Subscriptions.

  5. Locate your Praktika subscription.

  6. Select Request a refund or Report a problem.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions and select the reason for your refund.

You can also request a refund through Google's official workflow.


I can't get a refund from the Google Play Store!

While most Android refunds are automated through Google, there are specific cases where you should reach out to us directly:

  • Stripe/Web Purchases: If you purchased your subscription via our website (using a credit card, Instagram/TikTok ad, or Stripe) instead of the Play Store, Google cannot process your refund. Our team will handle this for you manually.

  • Google Play Denials: If Google has denied your refund request but you believe you are still eligible under our terms, please let us know.

  • Technical Issues: If you are requesting a refund because a technical error prevented you from your language practice, we want to hear from you so we can fix the bug as well!

How to get in touch:

  • Via the App: Go to Profile > ⚙️ Gear Icon > Contact via Email. (This is the fastest way for us to identify your account).

  • Via our Website: If you cannot access the app, visit our Contact Us page.

When contacting us regarding a refund, please include a copy of your digital receipt or your Order ID. Our support team will review your case and get back to you within 24-48 hours.
