Refunds for Apple Users

This article explains how to request a refund for a Praktika subscription purchased through the Apple App Store.

If you subscribed to Praktika using an iPhone, iPad, or through Apple Pay, your transaction was probably processed directly by Apple. Due to Apple's strict privacy and security policies, they handle all billing and refund requests internally. Praktika does not have the technical ability to issue refunds for App Store transactions or override Apple's decisions.


How to request a refund from Apple

To request a refund, you must contact Apple Support directly. Most requests can be completed through their automated portal:

  1. Go to Apple's Refund Request Page and sign in.

  2. Click “I’d like to”, then select “Request a refund.”

  3. Choose the reason for your refund request and click Next.

  4. Select the app, subscription, or item you want refunded, then click Submit.

  5. Wait 24 to 48 hours for Apple to update you on your request.

💡 If you can’t find the charge on reportaproblem.apple.com:

  • Search your email for a receipt from Apple.

  • If you're part of a Family Sharing group, sign in as the family organizer to request a refund.

  • If the charge is still pending, wait for the receipt before submitting a refund request.

  • For additional assistance, visit Apple Support.

Important: If you are on the free trial and cancel less than 24 hours before the end of the free trial Apple may still charge you. If this happens, please immediately request a refund from Apple and they will refund you.


When to contact Praktika Support

While Apple handles the vast majority of mobile payments, you should contact our team if:

  • You purchased via Stripe/Web: If you subscribed through an Instagram ad, TikTok ad, or our website using a credit card (Stripe), your payment did not go through Apple. In this case, we can manage your refund directly.

  • Technical Issues: If a bug prevented you from your language practice even after a successful payment, please let us know so we can investigate the error, regardless of where you purchased.

  • Via the App: Go to Profile > ⚙️ Gear Icon > Contact via Email.

When reaching out to us about a Stripe/Web purchase, please include the email address used during checkout and a copy of your receipt. Our support team will review your case and respond within 24-48 hours.
