How to work with surveys

You can create surveys directly within the platform to collect data from your suppliers

Surveys is an easy way to do due diligence within your supply chain. This could also be used as a follow up check of your suppliers a way to get insight in your suppliers readiness for upcoming regulations.

Find surveys in the "surveys" tab. They are separated into active and paused surveys. In the "Survey" tab you also find invitations, if you have received any invitation for a survey.

Surveys is build of sections, each section have groups and each group have questions. You can structure your survey as you like, keep in mind you need to add groups to add questions.

How to create a survey?

  1. Go to the "surveys" tab.

  2. Go to "Active Surveys"

  3. Click the green button "Add Survey(s)"

  4. You can generate a survey based on your policies or create your own custom survey.

  5. Give the survey a name.

  6. You can now find the new survey as a draft on the list of surveys.

How to add questions to a survey?

Surveys is build of sections, each section have groups and each group have questions. You can structure your survey as you like, keep in mind you need to add groups to add questions.

  1. Find a given survey on the list of surveys.

  2. Add a section by pressing the blue button "Add Section".

  3. Add title and description to the new section.

  4. Now you can add a group to a section by pressing the blue button "Add Group".

  5. Choose what section the new group should be a part of and add title.

  6. Now you can add a question to a group by pressing the blue button "Add Question".

  7. Choose what section and group the new question should be a part of and state the question.

  8. Now select the type of answer. You can choose the following:

    1. Boolean. Yes/no question.

    2. Number.

    3. Text.

    4. Select. You can pre-set answer options. Do this by comma separation.

  9. You can add more sections, groups and questions as needed.

How to activate a survey?

When you are finished with your survey it is time to activate it. Per default a suppliers will receive a survey when activated. If you want specific recipients? Find the blue button "Receivers" and select specific recipients.

Press "Activate" when ready to activate a survey.

How to update and make new version of a survey?

Go to an existing survey. Now press the green button "Add new version". If you want to use the questions from previous version, then press the green button "Copy previous questions". You can now do modification, add or delete sections in the survey. Remember you need to activate the survey for the new version to be live.

How to use existing surveys?

In the "Frameworks" tab you find surveys created by external organizations for example Preferred by Nature, UN Global Compact, Responsible Business Conduct, SMETA etc.

How to find results/answers of your surveys?

You find results on the overview tab within the surveys tab. You can also go to a specific survey and click a specific supplier to show their answers.
