1) What this does
When you add specific "tags" to a product "asset" (image or file) in Prduct, we automatically send that asset to your Byggebasen catalogue under the correct EmneId (topic) and, where relevant, the correct sub-folder.
2) Prerequisites
You have an active Byggebasen channel configured in Prduct.
You know which EmneId you want to send each asset to (see the mapping table below).
Your asset is one of the allowed file types:
PDF, DOC/DOCX, JPG/JPEG, PNG.
The product is linked to a Byggebasen TUNNR/external id in Prduct (your Customer Success contact can confirm).
3) Tag reference (what to create/use)
Create the tags exactly as written in the left column. Applying one of these tags to an asset triggers an upload to the corresponding EmneId.

Special case: EmneId 25 (Energimærkning)
For bb:energimaerkning you must also add one extra tag to choose the subfolder (archType). Examples used in projects:
bb:energimaerkning:datablad→ subfolder Datablad (archType commonly configured asdb)
bb:energimaerkning:energimaerke→ subfolder Energimærke (archType per your setup)
bb:energimaerkning:energipil→ subfolder Energipil (archType per your setup)
Be aware for EmneId 25 - a full example will include both the standalone "bb:energimaerkning" tag, and the subfolder tag "bb:energimaerkning:XXX" where 'XXX' is either 'datablad' or 'energimaerke' or 'energipil'.

4) How to attach tags to an "asset" (and trigger the upload)
Open the product in Prduct.
Go to the "Assets" page (you’ll see Images and Files lists).
Find the asset row (image or file).
Click the blue tag icon in the Tags column.
In the "Assign tags to asset" module:
Click tags to toggle selection (selected tags are highlighted).
For Energimærkning, pick bb:energimaerkning plus one sub-tag (e.g., bb:energimaerkning:datablad).
Click Save.
You’ll see a success notification (“Catalogue upload queued”) when the system has accepted it.
If you don’t see a notification, it’s okay — uploads still run in the background.
The system queues an upload job and sends your asset to Byggebasen.
How To create a new tag?
Go to "My organization" → Tags, add the tag with the exact name from the table, then use it in the model.
5) Where to see it in Byggebasen
Log in to Byggebasen.
Navigate to the product you targeted.
Go to "Katalogdata" or "Dokumentation", check the folder (Emne), or subfolder (for Energimærkning) you selected.
6) Don’ts (common pitfalls)
Don’t change tag spellings. The trigger relies on the exact tag name.
Don’t forget the second tag for bb:energimaerkning (EmneId 25). Without a sub-tag, the upload is skipped.
Don’t upload unsupported types (e.g., PSD). Use one of the allowed types listed above.
Don’t remove the product’s Byggebasen ID/TUNNR mapping—uploads need it.
7) Troubleshooting
I tagged an asset but nothing appears in Byggebasen
Give it a moment; it runs as a background job.
Ensure the product has a Byggebasen external id (TUNNR).
Check that the tag matches exactly (e.g.,
bb:epd, notbb:edp).For Energimærkning (25), make sure you also added the sub-tag.
I need proof the upload was sent
We record request/response details in logs. Your Customer Success contact can check.
Which file types are allowed?
PDF, DOC/DOCX, JPG/JPEG, PNG.
Can I tag both images and files?
Yes. Both lists (Images and Files) support tagging and uploads.
8) FAQ
Q: Can I tag multiple "assets" for the same EmneId?
A: Yes. Each tagged asset is sent.
Q: Can I remove an uploaded file from Byggebasen from within Prduct?
A: Not automatically. Remove it in Byggebasen or contact support.
