How to request Move Fees

After you enable "Moves", you must request Move Fees

If you have enabled "Moves" on your proposal, your proposal will REQUIRE a move fee. The Move fee is set by the Operations team.

First, add Moves to your proposal. This is done by first adding pickups, setting the pickup as a move, and completing the additional questions required for a move.

Use the REQUEST page to Create a new Move Fee Request.

The Pickups that have been configured as Moves will be sent to through to the Operations team with your request. You can add additional information to the request before sending as well.

The Operations Team will see the request and specify the move fee

Once completed, the updated Move fee will be a new expense on the Proposal and the financials will be updated accordingly. You can see the Move Fee on the "Expense" page.

Handling On-Site Connectivity Requests After a Move

If a representative requires on-site connectivity following a move, they should follow one of these two options:

  • Option 1: Include in Move Request Notes Add a note in the move request specifying the need for on-site connectivity. Clearly state that this service should be included in the overall move fee.

  • Option 2: Add as an Additional Expense Item Alternatively, the on-site connectivity can be listed separately as an additional expense item in the request.

Important: PREO does not automatically calculate on-site connectivity fees for moves. These must be manually added using one of the methods above. This is especially important to note on Production Moves where Connectivity may be needed.

By default, it is assumed that any connectivity service required during a move will be handled remotely, and no charge applies for remote installations.
