You can manage Commission Plans on user accounts by editing individual accounts or using the Sales Rep Comp Plan Management Dashboard. Try the Comp Plan Management Dashboard first.
Go to Admin Tools > Rep Comp Plan Management
On this page you can filter, edit within the grid, and create new plans. This will be much more efficient than opening each account individually.
To update an individual account, follow these instructions:
Create/Edit User Account
As a Regional Admin, navigate to Admin Tools. Click on "System Users", and select the account you want to update. Click Edit. A PREO User must be linked to an EA Sales Rep account for the commission plan section to appear.
Add Commission Plan in "Comp Plan" section
The Comp Plans section will show all commission plans that are attached to the users account. Commission Plans have effective dates so you can add new commission plans in advance of the start date. We also keep historical plans to maintain the integrity of old proposals if they happened to be adjusted.
When assigning a Comp Plan, it is important to select the correct Plan Type. The type of plan that will be used is directly related to the relationship the user has with the proposal they are attached to. You can see the relationship the rep has with a proposal on the "Permissions" page of a proposal.

Commission Plans go into effect immediately. The next time the proposal is saved, the comp plan will apply accordingly. Existing proposals will only be updated if they are saved
