Milestones (or Stages) are used to tell us where the order is in the process, and Milestone Status can tell us the exact status within the Milestone.
For example, a Proposal can be in the "Delivery" milestone and then further set to "ON HOLD". This tells us a great deal more than just "Pending Delivery".
The Order Processing team can update the Milestone Status from each of the respective Milestone dashboards by clicking on the Update Milestone Status button.
As a Regional Administrator, you can configure these options by going to Admin Tools > Order Workflow < Milestone & Checklist > Select a Milestone > Edit
You can then add one or more Milestone Status options for your Region. By enabling the Force Reason option, the users will be required to add a comment when changing to this status.
Setting up Milestone Status Options is a great way to gather more insight on the Order Workflow process. Be sure to spend time setting up your options and training your teams accordingly.
