Pickup Sales Orders are created directly in E-Automate. PREO does not create Sales Quotes or Sales Orders automatically from PREO. This article describes the process to manage Pickup orders using PREO and E-Automate.
INVENTORY TEAM - STEP 1
Monitor the "Pending Processing" Queue for new orders
The "Milestone status" option will be blank
Confirm Proposal has Pickups and proceed
Use the "Items" button to quickly inspect the Pickup information
If no Pickups, advance the Milestone Status to "READY FOR QUOTES"
Build the Pickup (Sales Order) in E-Automate
Advance the Milestone Status to "READY FOR QUOTES"
NOTE: If any Pickups are OOG, change the Milestone Status to "READY FOR OOG"
OOG TEAM - * On orders that have OOG*
Complete the steps above for the Pickups that are OOG.
Advance the Milestone Status to "READY FOR QUOTES"
ORDER PROCESSING TEAM - STEP 2
Complete the Sales Quote > Sales Order Process
Search for Pickups in EA by using the Job #
Review the TRADE-IN EQUIPMENT / LEASE RETURN FORM (Customer Authorization form) for Completion
Update the Disposition on the Pickup in E-Automate
Complete the Processing Checklist and advance the Proposal to the next Milestone Stage
