Completing the PREO Checklist

Each Proposal Stage has a unique checklist for the Order Team to complete.

Each stage of the PREO Proposal process has a corresponding checklist that must be completed to advance the stage forward. If a checklist item is answered "NO", it is considered a failure, and may require the Order Team to communicate with the Sales Rep to address this failure. This document reviews completing a checklist and handling the communication with Sales Reps when required.

The first and most thorough PREO Checklist happens when a Sales Rep submits for Review. The Order Team must answer questions required by the XBS Audit. These orders first appear in the "Under Review" queue on the Order Management page.

This checklist appears on the Proposal Navigation as "Checklist"

The Checklist page has two tabs: "Checklist Wizard" and "Checklist Review". The Wizard is the recommended way to complete the checklist.

You will be prompted to answer all required questions with "Yes", "No", or "N/A". As you answer each question, the wizard will advance automatically and the progress bar will update.

If you have answered "Yes" or "N/A" to all questions, you will be prompted to "Review" or "Complete". To finish the checklist and advance the proposal to the next stage, select "Complete".

If you have answered "No" to any question, you will be prompted with the option to "Kick Back" to the rep. This starts the Proposal Review process with the Sales Rep to address all issues the Proposal currently has.

The Sales Rep has been notified that additional information is required on the Proposal. Each question that was answered "No" will appear at the top of the Proposal with a location for the Rep to respond and for the Order Team to add additional comments. The Proposal Review Board also tells us who needs to respond.

When the Sales Rep updates the Proposal, the Order Team will see the response from the Rep and can then update the checklist answers to "Yes" or "N/A" and complete the checklist.

Use the Checklist Review tab for quick access to the questions that have been marked "No". Update the answer and Mark Complete.

If the Rep has failed to update the Proposal to meet the requirement, use the Proposal Review Board to make a response back to the Rep.
