The Processing stage in PREO happens after the Proposal has been reviewed and WON by the Order Review Team. PREO creates Sales Quotes directly in E-Automate for easy and accurate processing of deals. This article explains the steps to take to complete the Processing stage in PREO.

Once a proposal has been WON, it advances to the Pending Processing stage. These proposals show on the Order Management dashboard under "Pending Processing"

We first need to verify that the customer, item, and sales rep information in PREO is found in the E-Automate database. Start with Step 1, and Run the EA Wizard to confirm our records match.

If the Sales Rep created a new customer record in PREO, you may be prompted to map the customer from PREO to the actual customer in E-Automate.

Use the search button to look for the record in EA. If the customer is not found, it most likely needs to be created in E-Automate before you can complete this step. Create (or request) the customer creation, and then repeat the wizard.

If the Sales Rep used a "Third Party Item" or the item used is not found in the database, you will be prompted to map the item to an E-Automate item.

Use the search button to look for the item in EA. If the item is not found, it most likely needs to be created by the Purchasing team before you can complete this step.

Once you have completed the Wizard and receive confirmation, you can proceed to creating Quotes.

Once quotes have been created, you will see the Quote Number next to each item and the Remarks populate on the bottom of the page.

You can now convert Sales Quotes to Sales Orders in E-Automate, and complete your processing checklist.

Remember to add the Job Number to E-Automate Sales Order!
