The "Pre-order Now" option does not alter your regular checkout and payment configurations.

While Pre-order Now doesn't have a feature like that, payment capture is something you can control in your Shopify checkout settings. You can set payment capture to manual, where payment is authorized but not captured at checkout. Instead, you have 7 days to capture payment.
