PreOrder Now uses your storefront search engine to locate products. If the product you’re looking for is not live in your store, it won’t appear in the product search within the app.
Workaround: Temporarily Make the Product Live
If the product is still in Draft or Unpublished, follow these steps to temporarily publish it, enable the preorder, and then revert it to draft:
In your Shopify Admin, go to Products.
Click on the Draft or Unpublished product you want to edit.
Change the Status to Active.
Click Save.
Add the Product in PreOrder Now
Go to Apps > PreOrder Now WOD.
Navigate to the Products tab and click Add Preorder Product.
Search for and select the product, then click Add.
Choose Default Settings or enable Custom Settings for your variants to configure preorder options.
Revert the Product to Draft (Optional)
Go back to the product in Shopify.
Change the Status back to Draft or unpublish it.
Click Save.
