If you receive an order cancellation and notice it shows “PreOrder Now” as the source, that’s expected behavior.
Shopify requires all apps that offer pre-orders (or other purchase options) to include a way for customers to cancel their order if they change their mind.
That’s why the pre-order confirmation email includes a “Cancel Order” link.
When a customer clicks that link, Shopify (not the app) processes the cancellation.
At this time, the cancellation applies to the entire order, not just the pre-ordered item - and that behavior can’t be changed or removed.
In short:
The cancel link is required by Shopify.
It lets customers cancel their order directly from the email.
Clicking it cancels the entire order, not just one item.
The link cannot be removed or modified.
