Pricepoint's Preferences section lets you tailor how the system behaves for your property. It's accessed through Settings > Preferences, and includes three sub-sections: Auto-Pilot, Weekend, and AI.
What does the Auto-Pilot setting do?
Enabled: all AI price recommendations are accepted automatically
Disabled: you review and manually approve each AI recommendation before it applies
Reset: clears all existing AI recommendations and treats them as new. If Auto-Pilot is enabled, these new recommendations are accepted immediately. Manual adjustments — such as manual prices or Demand Level settings — are not affected by this reset and remain in place.
We recommend leaving Auto-Pilot enabled. Without it, AI-generated recommendations aren't applied automatically, which limits Pricepoint's ability to do what it's designed for — continuously optimizing your pricing in real time.
How do I set custom weekend days?
The Weekend sub-section lets you designate specific days as weekends by checking the corresponding boxes. This lets you set separate starting, maximum and minimum prices for those days, so peak-period pricing can be optimized independently from weekdays.
What does the AI rounding setting do?
The AI sub-section lets you choose whether price recommendations are rounded to whole numbers or shown with decimals. Enabling rounding presents recommendations as whole numbers for simpler review.
