Pace Monitor Report

How to read the Pace Monitor's reservations vs. revenue data, including the 365-day breakdown by room category.

The Pace Monitor gives you a real-time view of the balance between pickup and reservations at your property. You can find it under Reports > Pace Monitor. Unlike some other reports, there are no parameters to select, so it gives you an immediate snapshot of your data as-is.

What does the Pace Monitor show?

The key information is reservations vs. revenue to understand the pace of your bookings.

  • Reservations: the number of bookings made in a given period.

  • Revenue: the amount generated from those bookings.

In the upper section, you have this information by default for Today, Yesterday, the Last 7 Days, the Last 30 Days, and the Last 90 Days.

In the left-side section, you have this information for the last 365 days, broken down by:

  • Total: revenue and number of all reservations

  • Private Rooms: revenue and number of room nights

  • Dorms: revenue and number of bed nights (shows $0 if your property has no dorm inventory)

How do I read the chart?

The line chart shows revenue (green line) against reservations (black line) over the same period, so you can see how closely booking volume and revenue move together. When the lines diverge, it can indicate that reservations are bringing in more or less revenue than usual, for example, several low-value bookings versus a few high-value ones. Hover over the chart to see the exact revenue and reservation count for a specific date.
