"Pricepoint reads availability from your PMS or Channel Manager. Depending on your setup, this may be a direct read of real-time availability, or a calculation based on your booking count. Either way, if you see a difference, it usually means Pricepoint didn't fully capture something already correct in your PMS — like a block, which the booking-count method in particular may not detect."
Common Reasons for Availability Differences
Blocks or closed units not detected. Some PMS integrations may not expose blocks, out-of-order rooms, or manual closures to Pricepoint in a way it can read — meaning Pricepoint may show a unit as available when it's actually blocked in your PMS.
Room type or inventory changes. If room names, room types, unit counts, or mappings recently changed in your PMS, Pricepoint's setup may need to be reviewed to stay aligned.
Sync delay. If availability changed recently, Pricepoint may need time to receive the update. If a mismatch persists beyond that, it's worth reaching out to Support.
How to Check This Yourself
Compare the same date and room type in both Pricepoint and your PMS or Channel Manager. If they don't match, note:
The property and room type
The specific date(s) affected
The availability shown in each system
Whether there are any blocks, closures, or out-of-order rooms
When to Contact Support
Reach out to Support if:
Availability differs between Pricepoint and your PMS/CM and doesn't resolve on its own.
Blocks or closed units may be involved.
Your room setup or inventory changed recently.
The mismatch is affecting your pricing.
