primaTime Update 2.1.8 — Sent invoices at a glance and a team calendar in your colors

Sent invoices and billing statements now show when they were sent, delivered and opened. The financial dashboard shows uninvoiced work, the team calendar can take its colors from clients, and time record descriptions support formatting.

Written by František Vondrák

Invoice sent — and delivered? Now you see it at a glance. Plus uninvoiced work on the financial dashboard, a team calendar colored by client, and formatted time record descriptions. See what 2.1.8 brings.

Release date: 22.7.2026

Version: 2.1.8

1. Tasks & Projects

🗂️ Group tasks in the table

Group the task table by a field of your choice — related tasks appear together.

How it works:

  • Group by status type, assignee, reporter, client, project, priority, due date or start date

  • In the project detail task table, you can also group by a specific status

What you get: Get your bearings in a long task list faster — group it by whatever matters right now.

Where to find it: task table (in the project detail and on the all-tasks page) → Group by

🔁 Change the status of several projects at once

In project management, tick several projects and change their status in one step — to Concluded, for example.

What you get: No more clicking through projects one by one — close finished engagements in a single step.

Where to find it: Project management → select projects → change status

🔒 Private projects with a client and billability

A private project can now be billable and have a client assigned — while its privacy stays intact.

How it works:

  • Time records on a private project are visible only to its members — they can't be invoiced, don't enter reports, and stay hidden from users with client-based access

  • Billing items and flat rates of a private project can be invoiced

  • Permanently deleting a private project permanently deletes its time records too

What you get: Keep sensitive work private — and still with a client and rates.

Where to find it: Project detail → project settings

2. Time Tracking

✏️ Formatted time record descriptions

Write time record descriptions with full text formatting.

How it works:

  • Use everything the editor offers — bold, italics and bullet points carry over into time record exports

What you get: A structured description of your work that reads well even in a client export.

Where to find it: Time record detail → Description

🎨 Team Calendar with its own settings and colors

The Team Calendar now has its own settings, independent of the personal calendar — including where time record colors come from.

How it works:

  • Color records by Client, Project or User (the default — today's behavior)

  • Choose the default view, week start, zoom and visible days separately

  • The setting always applies, regardless of active filters

What you get: Tell at a glance which client or project the team is working on.

Where to find it: Team Calendar → settings icon

⚙️ One label per time record

A new organization setting limits label selection on a time record to exactly one.

What you get: With hourly rates tied to labels, two labels with different rates can no longer end up on the same record.

Where to find it: Settings → Time Tracking → General → One label per time record

3. Navigation & Views

🕔 Smarter recents

The list of recently used projects and clients now reflects many more actions — not just time tracking.

How it works:

  • A project comes up after working with its tasks, reports, rates or templates, for example

  • A client after issuing an invoice or billing statement, linking a project, or working with rates

What you get: Find the projects and clients you're currently working with faster in pickers.

Where to find it: project and client pickers across the app

🗑️ Trash cleans itself after 30 days

Items in the trash are permanently removed automatically after 30 days.

How it works:

  • New Permanent removal date column with filtering and sorting

  • A notice about automatic removal right in the trash header

What you get: The trash doesn't pile up — and you know exactly when each item disappears.

Where to find it: Trash

4. Finance & Invoicing

🧾 Sent, delivered and opened status of invoices and billing statements

Follow what happens to sent invoices and billing statements — from sending through delivery to opening.

How it works:

  • A status chip in the table and on the document detail; hover to see the date sent and the date the document reached the next state (delivered, opened)

  • New Date sent column; filter by sent status and by sending date

  • Statuses update automatically

What you get: You know for sure the invoice reached the client and was opened — no asking, no guessing.

Where to find it: Invoices / Billing statements → Sent Status and Date sent columns

📊 Uninvoiced amount and time on the financial dashboard

The financial dashboard now shows the Uninvoiced amount and Uninvoiced time.

What you get: See immediately how much finished work is still waiting to be invoiced.

Where to find it: Finance Dashboard

5. Small improvements

💸 Non-billable records leave the invoice immediately

Mark a time record as non-billable and it immediately disappears from the invoice or billing statement draft.

What you get: The draft invoice always matches reality — nothing to remove by hand.

Where to find it: invoice or billing statement draft → items from time records

⌨️ Faster timesheet entry

After filling in a timesheet cell, press Tab to move straight to the next one.

What you get: Fill in the whole week from the keyboard, without reaching for the mouse.

Where to find it: Time tracking → Timesheet

🪟 A window with unsaved text won't close by accident

A window with text in progress no longer closes when you click outside it — applies to text fields, descriptions, durations, numbers, percentages and times.

What you get: One stray click no longer costs you your text.

Where to find it: editing windows across the app

📡 A notice when your connection drops

When the internet connection drops, the app shows a "You are not connected to the internet" notice. Error messages during an outage now clearly say what's going on.

What you get: You know right away the problem is the connection, not the app.

Where to find it: the notice appears by itself at the top of the app

🏷️ Multi-select fields show more of your selection

Multi-select fields now show up to three lines of selected items plus the count of the rest.

What you get: See what you've selected without opening the field.

Where to find it: multi-select fields across the app (labels on a time record, for example)
