Group your report by labels, sort overviews by them and duplicate records in one click. Plus projects right in the client detail, bulk client change and invoices straight to QuickBooks. See what 2.1.9 brings.
Release date: 5.8.2026
Version: 2.1.9
1. Time Tracking
🏷️ Group time records by labels
Group the time records report by labels.
What you get: See your time split by labels — by activity type or rate, for example.
Where to find it: Reports → Time records → Group by → Labels
🔀 Sort overviews by labels
Sort the projects, clients and hourly rates overviews by labels.
How it works:
Click the Labels column header or pick labels in the sort menu
What you get: Items with the same label appear together in the overview.
Where to find it: Projects · Clients · Finance → Hourly rates
🔁 Quick record duplication
Duplicate a time record to today, to the following day or to yesterday.
How it works:
In the Duplicate menu, choose from four targets: Today, Following day, Yesterday and Custom
The first three create the copy immediately; Custom opens a date picker
The copy keeps the time, duration, project, task, labels and description, and starts unapproved and uninvoiced
What you get: Log repeated work on another day without filling in the form.
Where to find it: right-click a time record → Duplicate (calendar, reports and record detail)
✏️ Change the client of several records at once
In the bulk edit of time records you now change the client directly — until now it only worked indirectly by changing the project.
How it works:
In the time records report, select several records and pick the new client in the bulk edit
A project or task that doesn't belong to the new client is removed from the record — the dialog warns you beforehand
Approved and invoiced records stay unchanged; a summary shows how many records were updated and how many skipped
What you get: Fix a misassigned client on dozens of records at once.
Where to find it: Reports → Time records → select records → bulk edit → Client
2. Clients
🗂️ Projects in the client detail
The client detail has a new Projects tab — all of the client's projects in one place.
What you get: No more digging through project management for a client's projects — open them straight from the client detail.
Where to find it: Clients → client detail → Projects
3. Finance & Invoicing
🧾 QuickBooks integration
Send a finalized invoice or billing statement to QuickBooks Online.
How it works:
An organization admin connects primaTime to your company in QuickBooks and picks the default service item under which invoice lines are booked in QuickBooks
On a finalized invoice or billing statement, click Send to QuickBooks; on the first send you match the client to a QuickBooks customer — next time there's nothing to pick
An icon next to the invoice number shows the sync status with QuickBooks; amounts in QuickBooks always match those in primaTime exactly
What you get: No more retyping invoices into your accounting.
Where to find it: detail of a finalized invoice or billing statement → Send to QuickBooks; connection: Settings → Workspace → Integrations
