Due to their internal security policies, Apps4Rent cannot share specific information or results regarding penetration tests for their services. This ensures that certain details of Apps4Rent's security practices remain confidential and effective. However, they have multiple known methods that they use to safeguard customer data.

AccountEdge is able to share an SOC-2 report for the Apps4Rent data center upon request, which confirms their security and operational controls at that level. They also have the following practices in place:

1. Data Encryption: All data transferred between Hosted Virtual Desktops and customer devices is encrypted to protect sensitive information.

2. Access Controls: Strict access controls ensure that only authorized users can access customer systems.

3. Proactive Monitoring: Apps4Rent will actively monitor their environment 24/7 to detect and mitigate any potential threats.

4. Security Best Practices: Apps4Rent follows industry best practices, including regular security audits, vulnerability patching, and updates.

5. Daily Backups: Automated daily backups are in place to ensure data availability and integrity in the event of any issues.

6. Optional Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Apps4Rent also offers the option to add Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for an additional layer of security. This can be enabled at an extra cost for enhanced protection.
