AccountEdge Hosted is a cloud-based version of AccountEdge that can be used for remote work. It can be used for single and multi-user setups, and allows you to use both Mac and Windows machines simultaneously. Customers on Hosted receive technical support over the phone by default as part of their subscription.
AccountEdge Hosted is $50 USD per month per user, and is nearly identical to AccountEdge Pro for Windows in its layout, once you have opened the program. Hosted users are counted based on the number of unique sets of login credentials, and do not track how many computers you use to access the software. When working simultaneously, each user must have their own set of credentials; Hosted does not permit more than one person to use a set of login credentials at the same time. Hosted is provided in partnership with our hosting provider, Apps4Rent.
Hosted is the only cloud-based AccountEdge solution that is fully supported.
If you require services such as the Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365 Pro Plus can be added for your users for $16 per month per user during enrollment, or at a later time with assistance from Customer Care. Apps4Rent will assist with the setup of these services. Note that there is often a small delay after someone enrolls, while their environment is set up. Typically, if someone enrolls in the morning, they will have their credentials by evening on the same day. If they enroll later, it might be the following morning.
