In order to accept customer credit card or ACH payments in AccountEdge, you have to be enrolled in a merchant account with our exclusive merchant provider partner, Forte.
With a Forte merchant account, you are able to accept payments directly in AccountEdge from major card providers such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You can also accept direct ACH or e-check payment when customers provide their payment details.
AccountEdge does not directly charge customers for these services; we only provide the integration in our software. Forte, however, will charge their own fees for services.
