Getting there
Go to Products in the left-hand nav, then click Add product. A dropdown opens with three options: Add manually, Add from URL, and, under Bulk import products, Import from CSV.
Select Add from URL.
Paste one or more product URLs, separated by commas.
Click Add. Programa will attempt to retrieve the product details and add them to your library, this can take up to a minute.
Add from URL is a good way to kick-start a product rather than a complete, hands-off entry method. It reliably pulls across the basics, product name, URL, pricing, measurements, and materials, but it doesn't catch everything.
In practice you may find:
Only one image gets pulled across, even if the source page has several.
The description can come through generic or incomplete (e.g. just "armchair" rather than a full product description).
Fields like SKU, lead time, unit type, category-specific specs (like seat height), and custom specs are typically left blank.
Because of this, treat every product added from URL as a draft to review, not a finished listing. Check it against the source page and fill in anything missing manually before setting it to Active.
