This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough on how to add team members to your ProLine account

Steps to Add a New Team Member

To add a new team member:

  • Click the Hamburger Menu in the upper left corner > Manage Teams > Add New Team Members to open the team member addition form.

  • Enter the team member’s name.

  • Provide their company email address (not a personal email). Set up the email in Google Admin or Office 365 first if necessary.

  • Add the mobile phone number they’ll be using with ProLine. Nine out of ten times it’s their personal cell. This number won’t be exposed to your customers but it’s essential for sending messages through ProLine.

Note: The mobile phone number can be the same across multiple users if it serves general purposes like an office line or does not need to forward calls to a specific individual.

Now you’ll need to choose what type of user you’re adding.

Understanding User Types

When adding a team member, you will choose between two user types:

  • Regular User Type: Ideal for full-time team members who need a ProLine number, email connection, and assignments to projects and events. Adding a regular user will incur additional charges as it requires an extra seat.

  • Limited User Type: Suitable for collaborators like CPAs or consultants who need access to the account but do not require full communication tools or project assignments. Limited users do not require additional seats, thus no extra charges are applied.

Select the option you want for the user you’re adding, and then hit the Add button. Congrats, your new user has been added to ProLine!

Changing Permissions

Users are added as "Basic" team members by default, but you can change the permissions after you've added the user by opening the user in the team list. More info on permissions can be found here.

If you encounter any issues while adding team members, use the chat support feature located in the lower corner of your ProLine interface for immediate assistance.
