The Landlord's Process for Viewing Referencing Reports
As a landlord, it's important to have all the necessary information before making a decision on a potential tenant. That's why we provide referencing reports for your landlords to review. Here's how you can access and view these reports.
🔗 Step 1: Open the Deal
Start by navigating to the deal you want to manage. This can be done by logging into your account and clicking on the deal in question.
📤 Step 2: Send the Report to the Landlord
Once you have opened the deal, click the “Send Report to Landlord” button to start the process. This will send an email to the landlord with a link to view the referencing report.
⚠️ Please note that all referencing must be completed for this option to show on the platform.
The Landlord's Process
📄 Step 1: View Referencing Report
When the landlord receives the email, they can click “View Referencing Report” to review the outcome. This will take them to a page where they can view the report in its entirety.
✅ Step 2: Landlord Makes a Decision
Once the report is viewed, the landlord is prompted to “Proceed To Decision →”. They must tick a box to confirm they’ve reviewed the report and then choose from the following options:
Accept with Rent protection
Accept without rent protection
Decline
After making a decision, the landlord can click “Confirm Decision” to proceed.
📬 Step 3: Confirmation Sent
Once confirmed, the report status is updated in the system and logged under Decision for the agent to view.
