Step 1 - Click on 'Edit Deal'
To make changes to a deal, you first need to click on the 'Edit Deal' button. This button can be found at the top of the screen.
**If at this point the deal is locked you will need to unlock the deal - For a quick guide on how to do this, click the button below**
Step 2 - Click Tenancy Control
After clicking 'Edit Deal', you will see a menu on the left-hand side. One of the options on this menu is 'Tenancy Control'. Click on this option to continue.
Step 3 - A) Click to toggle "References done via LegalforLandlords" from No to Yes if they are being referenced.
If your deal requires referencing, you will need to turn on the "References done via LegalforLandlords" option. To do this, click on the toggle button next to this option to change it to "Yes".
Step 3 B) Or If they are not being referenced then Click to toggle "References done via LegalforLandlords" from yes to no.
If your deal does not require referencing, you will need to turn off the "References done via LegalforLandlords" option. To do this, click on the toggle button next to this option to change it to "No".
Step 4 - Save the deal.
After making changes to the referencing option, be sure to save the deal by clicking the button at the bottom of the page. This will ensure that your changes are applied.
Step 5 - Referencing is now turned on, you will now see the References page on the tenancy progression journey
After saving your changes, you will now see the References page on the tenancy progression journey. This will allow you to manage and track the referencing process for your deal.
