Let's walk through your PT Mate Member Groups

Do you offer different services to your fitness community?

On your member groups page you can create different groups and assign them to the different classes you offer.

Set up different groups that you can assign to 'exclusive' sessions. Great for fitness challenges, specialized services, etc.

Create a New Group

Hit the button option 'Create a New Group'

To set up your member group;

  • Create group name

  • Choose a colour to identify the group

  • Select members

A list will pop up of your members and you can filter your search selection using the filter options at the top of the list.

  • Option 1 - The small square πŸ”² option allows you to select your entire member list

  • Option 2 - 'Filter by name' allows you to search your members by name

  • Option 3 - You can filter by your different members groups to select members of those other specific groups.

Once you have added your members you can edit and add more or remove members at anytime.

Once you save your members group it will be saved in the member groups list in alphabetical order.

Tap on the 'view details' button to open the list of your members in the selected group. You can edit or delete the list, anytime.

Note: Once deleted it is deleted permanently.

See the sessions that the group has access to.

  • Exclusive sessions

    Displays your upcoming session schedule.

  • Exclusive recurring sessions

    Displays your upcoming recurring session schedule.

Assign groups to sessions

To assign your groups to sessions - From your calendar page in your recurring templates tab - https://ptmate.app/calendar/recurring-templates, select 'Exclusive'.

This will display the option for;

To set up the session select;

Session access

  • Session access - you can select member groups or specific pack and membership products to have access to the session.

  • Repeat cycle

  • The day of the week

  • Time

  • Session duration

  • Streaming / Virtual session link
    ​Note: This will turn your session into an online accessible session

  • Session name

  • Assign the trainer or coach that will be running the session

  • Select location of the session (this will only be necessary if you create different training locations).

  • SHOW MORE OPTIONS

  • Add a class description

  • Allow preview - this setting will allow your members to view the program assigned to the session

  • Limit available spots - this option allows you to set the maximum number of members that can book in to attend the session.
    ​Note: If bookings fill up there will be a waitlist for members that want to book in. If a members cancels from the session the first in line in your waitlist will be bumped into the book in list and will be notified via push notification (ensure your members have their push notifications enable through their mobile device).

  • Set Times For Bookings To Open

    Set a time for bookings to open. By default members can book in any time

  • Set Lock In Time For Bookings
    Set a time for bookings to close. By default members can book in and cancel any time before the class.

  • Set end date
    Set a date for this series of classes to stop (UPDATE WITH RESTART DATE)

Once you have saved your session you will see it displayed in your calendar.
