Overview

Everything in Billing starts with your products. PT Mate gives you the option to create packs of sessions, direct debits or other products to cater for all of your business needs.

Packs of sessions

Create packs of sessions to keep track of your clients' available sessions. You can choose whether to track 1:1 or group sessions. When you mark a session as attended, PT Mate will automatically deduct a session from the current pack.

Direct debits

Direct debits allow you to automate your payments. Choose between 1:1 or group sessions, and decide whether you want to include a fixed amount of sessions per billing period (e.g. 10 sessions per month) or give your clients unlimited access. In that case leave the sessions field empty. Direct debits reset after each billing period, so if there are 3 sessions unused, they will be lost after the period completes.

Note: You need to enable billing with Stripe to be able to create direct debits.

Other products

Other products can be used for anything non training related, such as equipment, merch or fitness challenges. Charging your clients won't affect any packs of sessions or direct debits.

Creating a product

Products can only be created on the Trainer Web Portal. Just select the type of product and fill out the form. The product will immediately become available for you to use.
