When you feel the need to move products between warehouse positions but there is no task created for that, you can spontaneously move products using the PULPO WMS Android app without creating a task upfront. This article will explain the exact steps to do so.
Step 1: Create the new movement task
Go to the movement task list in the Android App and use the orange button bottom right to create a new spontaneous movement:
Step 2: Start collecting products
As you can see, the list of products to move is empty, as you havent collected any products yet. Tab the barcode icon bottom right to start collecting items that you want to move:
Step 3: Scan the first warehouse position
To collect the first item, scan the warehouse position you want to collect the item from:
Step 4: Select or scan products to collect
When you scanned a position, the app will show you the products stored on that position. To see the "Take all" button that appears here in the sample image, you need to enable the setting "Accelerate movements" that you can find in our web application in the Settings -> Incoming section. When you scanned an empty position, the list will be empty and you can go back one step with the arrow in the top left corner to start collecting a product again.
Next step is to either take all products from this position (this will also take their whole stored quantities) or to scan a product in the barcode input, which is what happens in the next step.
Step 5: Confirming quantities and LOTs/serials to collect
Based on the product scanned, you have to confirm the quantity and LOTs/Serialnumbers you want to collect from the scanned position. Having done that, you get back the overview that shows you the collected items. You can repeat steps 3-5 as often as you like to collect more items, also from different positions. As long as the top bar says "Collecting" in the products list, you are in collection mode, means you are not storing anything yet.
Step 6: Confirm collection and switch to storing mode
Once you have finished collecting all the products you want to move, you tab the "READY" button in the product list and confirm the upcoming confirmation dialog
Step 7: Store your products
Now that you switched over to storing mode, the top bar indicates "Storing" to show you the current mode. You can now tab any product to store them to your desired position. If you wish to store all products to one single position, you can choose the button "Store all in one position" at the bottom.
When tabbing a product, you will get into a scan position screen. The system will also show you the positions that currently stock the product:
After scanning the desired position, you will get back to the products list of the movement:
When all stored, you can use the finish button to end the spontaneous movement.
