Send your emails at pre-defined times and dates

To schedule your press release, firstly follow steps as usual to create your press release.

Firstly Navigate to Distributions

Select Compose Distribution and fill the Distribution content in

How to set your scheduled date & time

Once you are ready to send your release you need to set a scheduled date and time

Remember if you change the Scheduled date, make sure you amend the Display date to match.

Save your release on the top right and click through to the 'Distribution Channels' tab. Once you're ready, click 'send email' - this will then schedule your email to send at the specified date and time.

Your release is now scheduled.

Once confirmed you'll get this notification

To cancel your scheduled press release

Firstly, navigate to the press release you wish to cancel via the main Distributions module. you will see the status in blue.

You can see which emails are scheduled in the list view:

  • Grey envelope = Draft email

  • Blue envelope = Scheduled email

  • Green envelope = Sent email

  • Red Envelop = Failed email

From the content tab, the release will confirm that is is set to be scheduled

Click to the Distribution Channels tab at the top and you will see the option to Cancel Email Distribution

Click this and confirm. Your press release is now cancelled and you have the ability to make changes.
