Ever wanted to combine our advanced tracking capabilities with the publishing capabilities of one of the most popular tools?

The Pulsar TRAC app for Hootsuite enables Pulsar clients to reply to and share content they surface in a TRAC search, within a Hootsuite stream.

What It Can Do

The Hootsuite Integration allows users to:

  • Save searches, and view the latest results from each search.

  • Identify and delve into the leading content that is propelling the conversation within your search and gain insights into the type of content that strikes a chord with your audience and propels the discussion forward

  • Repost content directly from the TRAC interface (X)

  • Reply to Posts on X directly from the TRAC interface and choose which account you replay with.

How To Set It Up

All you need to establish Hootsuite Integration is to add the Hootsuite App to your environment (can be found in their app listing) and follow these next steps:

  1. Obtain an API Key. If you or your team does not already have a Pulsar API Key, ask your account manager for one and this will become available via your user profile. When an API key is available for your user, you'll see it like this:

  2. Insert the API key on the Hootsuite TRAC Interface. A single box should appear for you to enter your key.

  3. Start Exploring! That's really it! Once you've entered your key your searches should appear as available streams which you can then process through the content of and repost and reply to your heart's content.

Issues?

If you run into any problems with integration, have any questions, or just want to reach out to chat about the future of our Hootsuite integration, message your account manager or contact us at our support via the handy button in the bottom right. Happy Posting!
