Is there a limit to how many dashboards I can build?
Yes, you can build up to 20 dashboards, and this limit is set at a brand level. For example, for a Brandset with 3 brands (one own brand and two competitor brands), you can build 20 dashboards per brand, totalling 60 dashboards within the Brandset.
What’s the maximum number of charts I can add to a dashboard?
There is a limit of 20 charts that you can add to a Dashboard. You can add both Standard charts, Custom charts and Text charts in a single dashboard and the total charts allowed includes the Free-Text chart. Once you’ve reached the limit of 20 charts in a dashboard, the "Add Chart" button becomes inactive. Additionally, a pop-up text appears when hovering over the "Add Chart" button to inform you that the dashboard chart limit has been reached. To add any more charts, you'd need to review your dashboard and delete some charts.
How may profiles can I add to a single chart?
The current limit s set to 10 profiles per chart. For most charts, data is viewed in a aggregated way - this limitation is important to understand. Users however have the flexibility to add a single profile per chart if they wish. Comparisons and the ability to split some charts by profile is coming in the near future.
Can I analyse multiple Brandsets in one dashboard?
Currently, the CORE Dashboards and Reports functionality does support Brandset level Reporting. Only Brand level and Profile level reporting is supported. However, you can look at data coming from multiple brands and profiles in one dashboard. This means you can:
Dig deeper into a brand to understand how your brand’s channels are performing against competitors within your Brandset.
Compare and contrast how your brand profiles are performing across different channels such as X, Facebook or Instagram.
Gain deeper insights into how each of your brand's regional accounts are performing against one another.
We are looking at introducing Brandset level dashboards and reporting in the near future.
Can I customise the look and feel of a Dashboard or Report?
Yes you can - you have various options to personalise your dashboards or charts within a dashboard, as well as customise any recurring reports. You can change the branding of your dashboard or report by adding different title colours, description colours, logo and cover image.
And if you are building any custom charts, you can also change the colour palette of those charts to suit your branding needs.
Can I build charts looking at Private data as well as Public data in one dashboard?
Yes, you can build charts that look at private profile data as well as public profile data in a single dashboard. However, the two data types cannot be combined in one chart.
Worth noting that out of the six channels we support, three (Google Analytics, YouTube, and LinkedIn) only provide private insights do you'd have to have these channels plugged in first. X, Facebook, and Instagram provide both private and public insights so you can toggle between these data types, provided you have those channels plugged in as well. When public data is toggled on, the data available is from publicly available insights only. When toggled back to private, the chart populates with data available from your private or plugged-in analytics.
Additional some metrics and data points are available exclusively for plugged-in profiles and private data, such as micro engagements, video views, and story click backs. These data points are not available for public profiles. For these reasons, public and private data cannot be combined in the same chart, and certain chart templates may be restricted when adding public data.
Can I apply filters to a Dashboard?
Top level filtering is not currently supported, apart from date filtering. You can apply specific filters to a chart when you using the Custom charts option to add your charts to your dashboard.
Top level filtering is currently disabled due the inconsistencies with the filters available for different channels, and the filters available for private and public data. This complexity means we are currently exploring the addition of chart level filtering to Standard charts as well, not just Custom charts.
What types of charts are available to add to my Dashboard or Report?
You have 3 options: Standard charts, Custom charts and Free Text charts.
Standard charts are a group of visualisations already available on CORE - from the Brand Overview, Content Section, Audience Section, etc. Adding Standard Charts to a new or existing dashboard is straightforward.
Custom charts are simple data views that you can create and customise based on specific filters or segments you want to visualise.
Free Text charts are exactly as the name suggests, charts where you can add summaries and insights, which is useful if you're sharing reports with other users or clients not familiar with CORE.
