You can access your QuantVPS server from anywhere using the Windows App (formerly Microsoft Remote Desktop) on your iPhone or iPad. Whether you're traveling or just away from your desk, this mobile connection method keeps your trading environment within reach.
Step #1: Download the Windows App
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
Search for "Windows App" by Microsoft Corporation. (If you already have the older Microsoft Remote Desktop app installed, Microsoft has retired it in favor of Windows App — download the new one.)
Tap Get or Install to download the app.
Step #2: Open the App and Add a New PC
Launch the Windows App.
Tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner.
Select "Add PC" from the menu.
Step #3: Enter Your VPS IP Address
Tap PC Name.
Enter your QuantVPS IP address, available in your Control Panel.
Tap Done to return to the previous screen.
Step #4: Add Your User Account
Tap User Account.
Select "Add User Account."
Enter your Username (typically Administrator) and your Password from the Control Panel.
Tap Save to store your credentials.
Step #5: Save the Connection Profile
Back on the "Add PC" screen, review your settings.
Tap Save (usually in the top-right corner).
Step #6: Connect to Your Server
Your VPS profile will now appear on the home screen of the app.
Tap it to launch your remote desktop session.
You're All Set
Once connected, you'll see your VPS desktop — just like on your computer. You can open your trading platform, monitor markets, and execute trades securely from anywhere.
Tips for Mobile Use
Use a stable network: Wi-Fi is preferred for smoother performance, but 5G/LTE also works well.
Prefer larger screens: An iPad offers better usability for managing charts, platforms, and terminals.
Watch battery usage: Prolonged remote sessions can drain battery quickly — keep your device charged during use.
Security Best Practices
Protect your credentials: Never share your VPS login. Use a secure password manager if needed.
Secure your device: Use Face ID, Touch ID, or a strong passcode on your mobile device to prevent unauthorized access.
