Xero Additional API Integration
The additional API integration for Xero enhances synchronization by streamlining the accounting and payroll processes between Quartz and Xero. This enables users to increase efficiency with bookkeeping and running payroll operations, resulting in reduced errors along with enhanced productivity, all while providing greater financial control.
Key Details:
Allowing for the option to input client name references to ensure reliable records and seamless reporting.
Enabling the utilisation of Xero’s branding themes to provide consistent client-specific invoice styles directly.
Tracking categories present for detailed insights into performance by department, region, or project for granular reporting.
Accurate ledger code mapping ensures transactions are allocated correctly, reducing reconciliation time and expedites accounting.
Tracking Category and Sales Code override provides added control for aligning assignment-specific details.

Expense Email Notifications
Email notifications for expenses have been introduced, extending the functionality previously available only for timesheets. Additionally, users can customize the expense notifications email templates, tailoring email content to suit specific requirements.
Key Details:
Previous Limitation: Email notifications were available only for timesheets, leaving expense-related updates to be tracked manually or within the application.
New Functionality:
Email notifications are now triggered for expenses at every stage of the approval process including:
Expense submitted notification to client user.
Expense Authorisation (by client user) to contractor.
Expense Rejection (by client user) to contractor.
Expense Authorisation (by agency user) to contractor.
Expense Authorisation (by agency user) to contractor.
Expense chasers to client users if still unauthorised.

Assignment Change Authoriser Screen
We've introduced a streamlined process for updating timesheets authorisers and expenses authorisers in the assignment settings. This feature eliminates the need for manual updates, significantly improving efficiency and user experience.
Key Details:
Previous Limitation: Users were required to manually update the authoriser for each timesheet and expense whenever an authoriser was removed or replaced in the assignment settings.
This was a time-consuming and error-prone process, especially in scenarios involving bulk updates.
New Functionality:
When an authoriser is removed from the assignment settings, the system will check if the removed authoriser had any pending timesheets and expenses linked to them.
A warning pop-up is triggered to notify the user if there are any pending timesheets or expenses with two clear options for action:
Option 1: Keep Existing Authoriser and Proceed
Selecting this option retains the removed authoriser for all pending timesheets and expenses.
No changes will be made, and the items remain linked to the removed authoriser (this will likely result in the associated timesheet or expense not getting authorised).
Option 2: Change Authoriser and Proceed
Choosing this option opens a slider screen displaying the count of pending timesheets and expenses.
The user can then select a new authoriser from the updated assignment settings to replace the removed authoriser across all pending items.
The total count of affected timesheets and expenses are displayed in red under the Authoriser, and a dropdown box on the right makes it easy to assign a new Authoriser.
Super Admin Portal for User Impersonation
This feature enhances support capabilities by allowing the Quartz Support Team on Intercom to directly access and view the users' interface to assist in any queries.
Key Details:
Access Management: The Agency Admin manages access by granting and revoking impersonation permissions for the Super Admin as required.
Impersonation Functionality: A dedicated screen named "Manage User" is provided within the settings for the Agency Admin role.
To note: The Super Admin cannot modify any user data during impersonation, ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding user privacy and change history.
Benefits:
Improves query resolution efficiency by providing direct access to user view.
Maintains strict compliance with GDPR by preventing data modification.
Protects user privacy and data integrity while allowing for effective support.
Additional Features and Fixes:
Virgin Money Bank Files are now available in Organisation settings.
Location of assignments now appear on timesheet PDFs.
Manual timesheets allow for multiple lines of the same rate type.
Inconsistency with Sales Invoice Due Date on Xero report fixed.
Inconsistency with Remittance Due Date on Xero report fixed.
Sales Invoice Xero Reference on Quartz will push correctly into Xero.
Timesheet Chaser date range (monthly) inconsistency due to UK Daylight Saving Time fixed.
Total sum for Sage Sales Ledger and Sage Consolidated Sales Ledger inconsistency fixed.
Supplier screen Payment Terms and Payment From now mandatory.
Timesheet list filter now includes expense linked timesheet.
Inactive Contractors & Suppliers are now shown clearly in Assignment Edit.
Rejected Expenses can now be deleted.
The username column now appears in contractor list screen.
