Quartz Branding Changes

We have given the software a makeover with a brand new look and feel! Our first update to the software includes plenty of changes to the user interface which are summarised below:

Quartz Logo & Brand Colours

The new logo and image are now on the login screen, forgot password page, registration page, browser title tag, and footer.

Note: The default Quartz logo will be used for agency activation, new requests, and welcome emails. If an agency adds or currently uses its logo in the application, it will appear across the application, including emails and PDFs. If no logo is added, the space will remain blank.

Email Template Changes

Our email templates now include the new logo, colours, and font. All system and custom emails and notifications use the new look and feel design.

Other brand related changes

The colour themes, E-sign Watermark, system font and PDFs (Invoices, Remittances etc) have all been put into the Quartz brand.

Important Step-by-Step Guides

There are various features and processes, which may be applicable to you, which are impacted by the change in product ownership. We have prepared some handy guides to ensure you are up and running as normal as soon as possible:

Email Authorise and Reject

What's New: Enhanced functionality for authorising and rejecting timesheets via email.

Old Scenario: Clients could authorise timesheets by clicking a button in the email body without logging into the application. However, to reject a timesheet, clients had to log in and provide a rejection reason.

New Scenario: Clients can now both authorise and reject timesheets directly from the email, including providing a reason for rejection without logging in.

Field Audit History Capturing

What's New: Comprehensive capture of field audit history.

Old Scenario: Some changes to records were recorded in a history log in the Supplier settings, Client, Client user, Agency user, Contractor, and Purchase order screens.

New Scenario: History details for nearly all key fields are now captured and can therefore be reported on if necessary. Updates to record now stores the old and new values, timestamp, and user who made the change.

Added Assignment and Timesheet No. in Invoice and Remittance

What's New: Improved navigation for reviewing assignments, timesheets, or expenses.

Old Scenario: You had to exit the current activity to review assignments or timesheets and then restart the process.

New Scenario: Assignment, Timesheet, and Expense numbers are now added as hyperlinks in the invoice and remittance viewing screens, allowing quick access to the respective information.

VAT Rounding Enhancement (Sales Invoice)

What's New: We have addressed a VAT rounding issue for invoices and reports/PDFs.

Details: VAT is now rounded for each line item and then summed, ensuring consistent and accurate totals across all documents.

Note: Due to rounding each line item, slight differences may occur between manual calculations and standard business calculations to maintain consistency.

Email Status Update and Validation

What's New: We have added a status column for email delivery in the batch list for invoices and remittances. You can hover over the status and it will give you further details.

Details: This addition improves application performance. Warnings and error validations for file size limits and invalid email addresses have also been implemented to enhance usability and reliability.

We hope you enjoy the first of many Quartz releases, and we look forward to continuing to enhance the software for you by providing further innovative updates at least every quarter😎🤩. Your feedback will be invaluable!
