Adjustment timesheet can only be created against the particular timesheet that is either billed (or) paid on the User Timesheet List screen.
While creating the adjustment timesheet, you can reduce (or) increase the units.
Say, for example, that the contractor has been paid 5 units for a week, which is paid and billed. But he should have been paid only 4 units. Now you can create an adjustment timesheet to reduce 1 unit from the original timesheet.
You can click the below icon to create an adjustment timesheet.
After clicking the above icon, you will be redirected to the screen where you need to put your adjusted units. This screen will show the worker name, assignment, month and week of the original timesheet. You won't be able to edit any of these values.
Also, you can see the original values submitted for reference. While submitting the adjustment timesheet, you can only select the rate that was submitted in the original timesheet. You can override the rate as well if you wish and then submit it.
If the actual timesheet units were 4, select the rate, give -1, and then submit it. You won't be able to reduce the value to greater than the original timesheet value; It will throw an error if you do the same.
Once it is submitted, it will be displayed in the User Timesheets screen with the reference number (ADJ) at the end.
This timesheet will be available for the batching process (both sales and payment remittance).
Sales invoice: If you've run the batch for the negative adjusted timesheet, credit note will be generated.
Payment Remittance: If you've run the payment batch for the negative adjusted timesheet, debit note will be generated.
You can see the list of adjustments created in "User Timesheet List" screen by filtering the
Adjustments and search.
