How to Add & Edit Customer Lead Sources

Organizing lead sources helps you track where your customers are coming from and make better marketing decisions. In this guide, you’ll learn how to add, remove, and manage customer lead sources inside QuoteIQ.

Step 1: Open the Settings Tab

From your Dashboard, Click the Settings tab located in the left-hand sidebar.


Step 2: Access Edit Lead Sources

Inside Settings, scroll down to the Company Info section.

At the bottom the Company Info section:

  • Click Edit Lead Sources to open your current lead source list.


Step 3: Remove Existing Lead Sources (If Needed)

If you want to remove a lead source:

  • Click the X next to the lead source name you want to remove.


Step 4: Add A New Lead Source

To add a new lead source:

  • Type the name of the new lead source into the Add Leads field.

    (Example: Facebook Ad, Google Search, Referral Program).

  • Click the orange plus arrow next to the field to add and save it.


Step 5: Use Your Updated Lead Sources

Once saved, your new lead source will be available in:

  • New Client Contact Creation

  • Estimate Lead Source selection

  • Customer Management records
