How to Create an Options Estimate

Learn how to build Options Estimates in QuoteIQ so customers can select the services they want from a set of choices.

Options Estimates give your customers the flexibility to choose between multiple services in one quote. This is perfect for upselling, offering service tiers, or presenting alternative pricing. In this guide, you’ll learn how to create and send an Options Estimate inside QuoteIQ.

This is a preview of an Options Estimate from the customer's view.


They simply check the box next to the service and the price for selected services is totaled at the bottom.


Step 1: Open the Estimates Tab

From your Dashboard, click the Estimates tab at the top of the screen.


Step 2: Click "+ Create Estimate"

In the top right corner, click + Create Estimate


Step 3: Select Your Customer

Choose the customer for the estimate from your Contacts List, or create a new one if needed.


Step 4: Choose "Options Estimate" Type

Below the customer info, locate the Estimate Type dropdown and select Options Estimate

Once selected, press Next.


Step 5: Select Services to Include

Pick the services you want to offer as options. These will each appear as separate checkboxes on the customer's estimate.

Once you've selected the services you want included, press Next.

Note: Selected services will have a red dot appear above the dropdown arrow.


Step 6: Edit the Options Estimate

Make any necessary edits or changes to the services you've selected by pressing the Pencil Icon to the right of the service name.

Add In Additional Estimate information:

  • Discounts

  • Deposits

  • Taxes

  • Toggle (ON/OFF) Online Self-Scheduling

  • Toggle (ON/OFF) Required Signature

  • Terms and Conditions

  • Client Message

  • Photo(s)

  • Footer

Once you're satisfied and ready to move on, press Proceed


Step 7: Share the Options Estimate

In the Preview screen, press the Share button and choose your method of sending the estimate to the customer and send the Options Estimate.
