QuoteIQ gives you two ways to create Before & After visuals for your service business: the manual Photo Generator (take real photos on-site) and the AI Image Generator (upload one photo and AI creates a realistic "after" preview). Both are powerful tools for closing deals, building trust, and creating marketing content.
Manual Photo Generator: Available on Beginner and above
AI Image Generator: Available on all plans (uses IQ Credits)
AI Before & After Image Generator
The AI Before & After Image Generator lets you show customers what their property will look like after your service — before you even start the job. Upload a single photo, and QuoteIQ's AI generates a realistic preview of the finished result using the customer's actual property, not stock images.
How it works:
Upload a photo of the property or surface you'll be servicing.
QuoteIQ's AI analyzes the image and generates a realistic "after" preview.
Review the generated image and attach it directly to an estimate.
Why use it:
Close more deals — Customers can see the transformation before committing. This is especially powerful for pressure washing, painting, landscaping, and exterior cleaning.
Attach to estimates — Add the AI-generated preview directly to your estimate in the Photo section so the customer sees it when reviewing your quote.
No "after" photo needed — Unlike the manual generator below, you don't need to complete the job first. The AI creates the preview from a single "before" photo.
The AI Image Generator uses IQ Credits and is available on all plans. It's a different tool from the manual Photo Generator below — use AI to preview results before the job, and the manual generator to document real results after the job.
Manual Before & After Photo Generator
The manual Photo Generator lets you capture real before and after photos on-site, organize them side-by-side, brand them with your logo, and export them as clean visual proof of your work. It's built into QuoteIQ Cam and is available on Beginner plans and above.

Step 1: Open the QuoteIQ Cam
From your dashboard, tap the camera icon to launch the QuoteIQ Cam. This is your hub for creating inspection reports, job documentation, and photo content.
Step 2: Tap "Create Before & After Picture"
Inside the QuoteIQ Cam, you'll see an option labeled "Create Before & After Picture." Tap it to begin creating a new photo set.
Step 3: Take Your Before Photo
Line up your shot and tap the camera to capture the "before" image of the area you're servicing.
Step 4: Take Your After Photo
Once the job is complete, return to the same location and frame the shot as close to the original as possible. Tap to capture your "after" image.
Step 5: View/Edit The Before & After Picture
Once you've selected your Before and After images, you'll see a preview of both photos. Tap the pencil icon to open your editing options. From here, you'll see three choices:
Edit – Customize the photo by adjusting brightness, saturation, contrast, or applying a filter. You can also add text, upload your company logo, insert labels like "Before" and "After," draw on the image, add a new photo, or hit "Delete All" to erase any changes you've made.
Preview – Quickly view what the final image will look like before generating.
Choose Another – Go back and swap out either the before or after photo.
You can also tap the "Swap" icon between the two photos to swap their positions if they're in the wrong order.
When you're ready, hit "Generate" and choose between a Top-Down View or Side-by-Side View.
Your generated image will appear, and you'll have the option to either Edit (which lets you adjust the final combined image) or Save it to your gallery.
Step 6: Save or Export the Photo Set
After capturing both images, QuoteIQ will automatically align them into a clean visual. You can now save it to your Camera Roll or Save In App.
Best Practices:
Maintain consistent lighting and angles between photos.
Use as proof for completed jobs in customer disputes.
Include them in your Google Business profile or website gallery.
Great for creating visual social content or testimonial posts.
Step 7: View Pictures in Before & After Archive
After saving your image, you can always access it later by opening the Before & After Archive. This archive shows a full list of every Before & After image you've taken and saved in the app. From here, you can preview, edit, or delete any image.
It's perfect for referencing old jobs, reposting to social media, or attaching to future estimates or invoices.
