Whether it’s protecting your business from damage claims or simply keeping your team informed, QuoteIQ’s Job Documentation system—built directly into QuoteIQ Cam—lets you capture, label, and organize job photos and videos. Everything you document is automatically stored to the correct job and customer profile, so nothing gets lost.

Step 1: Open QuoteIQ Cam

From your main dashboard, tap the QuoteIQ Cam icon.


Step 2: Tap “Create Job Event”

This opens the camera tool to begin documenting your jobsite.


Step 3: Capture Photos or Videos

First, Select or Create a New Customer to attach to the job form.

Then, you can take multiple photos or record a video walkthrough. Use this to document existing damage, problem areas, equipment setups, or anything you don’t want to be held responsible for.


Step 4: Add Titles and Descriptions

After capturing, you can name each photo or video and add a description. This ensures clear context later when reviewing the job.


Step 5: Annotate If Needed

By clicking the pencil icon, you can draw on photos, add arrows, highlight problem areas, or drop in notes—all directly on the image. This is useful for internal communication, training, or client updates.


Step 6: Automatically Linked to the Job

Everything you capture is automatically tied to the correct customer, with no extra steps. You can always access it later under the job archive.


Step 7: Save Job Form

If needed, you can export a professional-looking report of your documentation and send it directly to the customer. Great for liability protection and clear client communication.


Step 8: View All Past Documentation in the Job Archive

To view all the job photos and videos you’ve saved, go back to QuoteIQ Cam and tap on Job Archive. This section displays every media file you’ve captured through Job Documentation, organized by date. You can tap any item to view, edit the title/description, or delete it.

This archive ensures that no job detail gets lost and gives you quick access to historical documentation across all customers.

Can I upload images from my camera roll?

Yes. You can upload images from your camera roll or by taking pictures in app.

Can I delete a job form after saving it?

Yes. Just open the photo from the archive and tap the trash icon.

Can I edit the name or description later?

Yes — you can update titles and notes on saved documentation.

Where is my documentation stored?

All media is saved under the job file for the assigned customer and accessible via QuoteIQ Cam or through the job record.
