What Are E-Signatures?
E-Signatures let your customers electronically sign estimates and proposals directly from their phone or computer. Send a professional estimate via text or email, and the customer can review and sign it digitally — no printing, scanning, or meeting in person required.
Need a signature on something other than an estimate, like a contract or waiver? Use QuoteIQ Sign (creating new QuoteIQ Sign documents is Pro and above).
Choosing When a Signature Is Required
Company-wide: set whether estimates require a signature in your company settings.
Per estimate: override that setting on any single estimate.
Per Proposal+ template: set a template to always require a signature, so every proposal made from that template needs one.
When a signature is required, the customer must sign to accept. When it's off, they can accept without signing. If the estimate also asks for a deposit, the customer can sign before paying it.
After the Customer Signs
The estimate PDF is marked "Accepted".
Download PDF gives you the signed version.
On an options estimate, the PDF shows the option the customer chose.
