What Is QuoteIQ Sign?
QuoteIQ Sign lets you send any document for e-signature, not just estimates. Contracts, service agreements, waivers, work authorizations: upload the document, send it, and your customer signs it online from their phone or computer.
It works alongside the e-signatures already built into your estimates and proposals. Those are unchanged and stay on every plan. QuoteIQ Sign is for everything else.
How It Works
Open Tools → QuoteIQ Sign.
Upload the document you want signed.
Send it. Your customer gets a signing email.
They open the link and sign on a secure QuoteIQ signing page. No account or app needed on their end.
Stay organized: keep your signing documents in folders.
Just getting started? With no documents yet, QuoteIQ Sign shows its normal screen and tabs with a short message so you know where to begin.
Signed documents appear in the contact's Attachments.

Which plans include QuoteIQ Sign?
Creating new QuoteIQ Sign documents needs Pro ($199.99/mo), Elite ($299.99/mo) or Max ($699.99/mo). On Essentials and Beginner, you can still open, send and download QuoteIQ Sign documents you already have. E-signatures on estimates and proposals are separate and stay on every plan.
What's the difference between QuoteIQ Sign and estimate e-signatures?
Estimate e-signatures let customers sign the estimate or proposal itself. QuoteIQ Sign lets you send any other document for signature, like a contract or waiver.
Does my customer need a QuoteIQ account to sign?
No. They open the link from the signing email and sign on a QuoteIQ signing page.
Can I organize my signing documents?
Yes. QuoteIQ Sign keeps documents in folders.
My customer's signing link showed an error. What happened?
Some emailed signing links showed an error instead of opening. That was fixed in the October 2026 update — emailed signing links now open normally.
I uploaded a document and it didn't save. What should I do?
That was fixed in the late September 2026 update. Update to the latest version of the app and upload it again.
