Available On: Every plan. The Routing and Employees sections need the Elite or Max plan.
Where to find it: the Atlas section of the side menu
What Is Atlas?
Atlas is QuoteIQ's prospecting map. It shows your customers and jobs on one map, helps you find new businesses to sell to in the areas you work, lets you buy those businesses as leads, and keeps track of the doors your team knocks on.
Atlas has its own section in the side menu: Customers (Map View), Lead Generator, Door Knocking, Routing and Employees. Each one opens Atlas on that part of the map. The Atlas dashboard cards work on phones, tablets and desktop.
See Your Business on a Map
Satellite view is the default map. If you'd already picked a different map style, Atlas keeps your choice.
Your customers and active jobs appear as pins, each in its own color.
Tap any pin to open its card.
Turn map layers on and off. Showing or hiding something you've already bought never costs anything.
Lead Generator: Find and Buy New Customers
The Lead Generator finds businesses you can sell to, right in the areas you already work. Searching is free. You only pay to unlock the leads you want.
New here? Start with "Find New Customers." If you haven't bought any leads yet, the Lead Generator shows a simple starting card. Pick business types, enter your ZIP codes (they're filled in from your service area), and tap Search for Opportunities. Searching is free.
Search for free. Pick the types of business (for example restaurants or property managers) and an area: a ZIP code, or an area you draw on the map. Your chosen business types show on one summary row with an Edit button, and checking a category selects every type in it.
See the real count before you pay. Atlas tells you exactly how many businesses it found in and around that area. Until you buy, they show on the map as gray pins with a lock. Atlas shows both the shape you drew and the rectangle that's actually searched, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
Unlock to see everything. Buying the search unlocks every business in it: name, address, phone number and website. Contact details are included at no extra charge.
Work each lead from its card. Tap the phone number to call, the website to open it, or the address to open it in maps. Press and hold any of them to copy. You can also text, start a deal, estimate, invoice, job, task or reminder straight from the lead.
Business-type filters filter the map too, not just the list.
Website safety check. Before a lead's website opens, Atlas shows the full link with the site name highlighted so look-alike addresses stand out. Nothing opens until you tap Open.
Leads are scored on how well the business fits your work, how close it is, and how many of your existing customers are nearby.
"Yours" and "Buy more." The "Yours" tab lists the businesses you already own, and you can filter it by type. Everything that costs money is on the "Buy more" tab.
Export your leads to a spreadsheet (CSV).
Your leads stay with your account. If more than one account signs in on the same device, each account only sees its own leads.
Lead contact details work with a keyboard and with screen readers.
Door Knocking
Drop a pin on any house or business you've knocked on and give it a status. There are seven to start with: Not Home, Knocked — No Answer, Contacted, Interested — Follow Up, Not Interested, Do Not Knock and Appointment Set.
Rename, recolor, reorder, add or remove statuses in Atlas settings.
Add notes to each pin.
Save a pin as a QuoteIQ contact in one tap.
Export your door-knock list to a spreadsheet (CSV).
Areas, Property Lines & Property Details
Areas: draw areas on the map and save them, such as your service area or the neighborhoods you're canvassing.
Property lines: zoom in close to see property boundary lines for free.
Basic property card: tap a property to see a basic card, also free.
Full property details (owner and property records) are a paid unlock, bought by one ZIP code, five ZIP codes, or a whole state.
Routing & Employees (Elite and Max)
Routing puts a day's jobs in the best driving order.
Employees shows where your team is on the map, only while they're clocked in. Once someone clocks out, their location isn't shown at all.
On other plans, these two sections still show, with an option to upgrade. Atlas Routing is separate from Route Optimization in the calendar.
What It Costs
Everything you buy in Atlas is yours for good. It never expires, you're never charged twice for the same thing, and it belongs to your company, so your whole team sees it.
Leads
You pay per business unlocked. The price per business drops as the number goes up, and each rate applies only to the businesses in its range.
Businesses in the purchase | Price per business |
First 100 | 25¢ |
101 to 500 | 20¢ |
501 to 2,000 | 15¢ |
Over 2,000 | 12¢ |
Minimum purchase: $25. Above $25, the total rounds up to the next $10.
A purchase never costs less than 10¢ for each search it took to cover the area.
Examples: 100 businesses = $25 · 212 = $50 · 500 = $110 · 1,000 = $180 · 2,000 = $330 · 5,000 = $690.
Very large searches come back in parts of up to 1,000 businesses each. You can continue to the next part once you've bought the one before it.
Property Details
What you unlock | Price |
One ZIP code | $99 |
Five ZIP codes | $299 |
A whole state | $997 |
How Payment Works
The exact price is always shown before you're charged. Any purchase over $250 asks you to confirm first.
You pay by card on a secure payment screen inside QuoteIQ. There's no separate website to visit.
Each payment covers that one purchase only. There's no subscription and nothing recurring.
Searching is free. There's a daily search limit, and a free search allowance that lifts permanently once you make your first purchase. If you reach either one, Atlas tells you which one and what to do.
Who Can Use Atlas
Owners and admins can use all of Atlas.
Employees can open Atlas only if you give them the "Use Atlas" permission. They can make purchases only if you also give them "Spend in Atlas."
