New Features
Weather in QuoteIQ
Check the weather without leaving the app.
On your dashboard, the welcome banner shows today's weather: the current temperature and a sky that matches the conditions outside. Tap the banner to open the forecast, with today's high and low, chance of rain, wind and humidity, the next 24 hours, and the next 10 days.
On the calendar's Day view, a weather strip above your schedule shows that day's forecast. Tap it to open the same forecast.
Settings: choose whether weather follows your company address or your device's location, and pick °F or °C.
Weather is on every plan, on phones, tablets and the web. Full weather guide
File Manager storage and storage packs
Every plan now includes a set amount of File Manager storage: 25 GB on Essentials, 125 GB on Beginner, 250 GB on Pro, 500 GB on Elite and 1 TB on Max.
The File Manager shows how much you've used.
If you reach your limit, QuoteIQ tells you and lets you upgrade your plan or add a storage pack: +100 GB ($9.99/month or $99.99/year), +500 GB ($34.99/month or $349.99/year) or +2 TB ($99.99/month or $999.99/year).
Files you've already uploaded stay where they are. When you're at your limit, only new uploads are paused.
Changes
New plans and prices
New prices for new subscriptions. Essentials stays at $29.99 a month. Beginner is $99.99, Pro $199.99, Elite $299.99 and Max $699.99 a month. Annual billing is 10 times the monthly price (2 months free): $299.99, $999.99, $1,999.99, $2,999.99 and $6,999.99 a year.
Already subscribed? You keep your price for as long as you stay on your current plan. If you switch to a different plan, you'll pay that plan's new price.
Switching plans: upgrades start right away, and you're only charged for the rest of the current period. Downgrades start at the end of your billing period. You'll see exactly what you'll be charged before you confirm. A downgrade can't go through while your team is bigger than the new plan allows.
A redesigned Subscription screen makes plans easier to compare.
Users: Essentials includes 1 user, Beginner 2, Pro 4, Elite 10 and Max 20. Any paid plan can add up to 100 extra users for $25 per additional user per month. Max subscribers from before this change keep 200 users.
Max now covers up to 4 additional companies. A fifth or later company needs its own plan.
Plan changes:
Jobs is now on every plan.
Google Business Profile reviews are on every paid plan, including Essentials.
Creating new QuoteIQ Sign documents now needs Pro or higher. Documents you already have can still be opened, sent and downloaded on any plan.
Crews on a job need Max, or an Elite plan bought before April 2, 2026 — the same rule that already applied to creating crews.
A Terms of Service and Privacy Policy checkbox now appears when you buy a plan, the Website Builder, the AI Assistant or a storage pack, or switch plans. Buying extra users doesn't ask for it.
Promo codes no longer skip your 14-day free trial, except offers that are paid up front.

Imported contacts now get automated emails
Contacts you bring in with a new import are now set to receive automated emails by default. Contacts you imported before this update aren't changed. If you don't want a group of imported contacts to get automated emails, turn emails off for those contacts after you import them.
Improvements
QuickPay
Send a QuickPay link from the payment screen. When you record a partial payment on an estimate or invoice, you can now send your customer a QuickPay link for that amount instead. They pay online, and the payment is recorded on the estimate or invoice automatically.
Google reviews: AI replies
This adds to the AI reply drafts already in the Review Hub:
AI Reply Settings: set the tone and guidance for each star rating, and choose how replies are handled: Off, Draft (AI writes a reply for you to check) or Auto-reply, for the star ratings you choose.
[Web app only] Answer many reviews at once: a board shows each review next to its reply, so you can work through them in a batch.
Select several reviews to act on them together.
The Review Hub now opens on the reviews that need a reply.
Review Multiplier and AI Reply settings are now together in one place.
InstaQuote
This adds to InstaQuote's pricing questions:
Optional questions. Mark a question as optional, so customers can skip it.
Questions that only show when they apply. For example: "Do you have a screened porch?" — and only if the answer is Yes, "What size is your screened porch?" If the customer changes the answer to No, the size is cleared.
Answers that only show when they apply, set up the same way.
Estimates and invoices
PO numbers. Add an optional purchase order number to an estimate or invoice. It shows on the preview, the PDF and your customer's page, and carries over when an estimate becomes an invoice.
Name your discount, for example "Discount — Spring promo (10%)". The name shows everywhere the discount does.
Estimate PDFs now say "This estimate expires on…" at the bottom when the estimate has an expiration date.
"Mark as Accepted" lets your team accept an estimate for the customer. It's blocked while the customer has an open change request.
Change requests from customers can now be resolved or dismissed in the app.
Scheduling a job from an estimate fills in the job's notes with the estimate's client message. You can edit it.
Appointments on the customer portal list the services being done.
Estimate cards always show the Total, and paid estimates read "Paid in full."
Proposal+ templates can now be set to always require a signature, so every proposal made from that template needs one.
PDFs with lots of photos are smaller and open faster.
Before & After
AI Before & After on estimates now also saves the before and after photos as one side-by-side image, and adds them to QuoteIQ Cam for the customer.
Save a Before & After with just the before photo, and add the after photo later.
Tapping a wide photo on an estimate shows the whole image instead of a cropped part.
Contacts, lists and pipeline
Filter contacts by tag, and sort them newest or oldest first.
Pipeline on phones: the board now has a tab for each stage. Move a deal with a "Move to stage" sheet, with Undo.
The pipeline's estimate picker shows each estimate's customer name, and you can search by it.
Payments and getting verified
Faster verification for QuoteIQ Payments. Your business details are filled in for you from your company profile.
Cards on File now appear on contacts while you're still finishing verification. You can view and manage saved cards; adding or charging a card waits until you're verified.
QuickBooks now shows which records didn't sync and why, and tells you when a problem is in your own QuickBooks data (for example, a number that's already used there) rather than on our side.
Calls
[Mobile app only] Android: incoming calls fill the screen. You can answer, decline and end calls right in QuoteIQ, and answered calls now have sound both ways. You'll also get a missed-call alert when a call goes to voicemail.
Also improved
Unsaved changes: a clearer prompt with Save, Discard changes and Keep editing, now also on the estimate wizard.
Notifications appear as one tidy banner at a time.
[Web app only] QuoteIQ warns you before you close a browser tab with unsaved work.
[Web app only] Screens fade in place when you move between them.
The onboarding setup offer now says "Skip for now".
Bug Fixes
Payments
Online payments work for more businesses. Some verified businesses were wrongly marked as needing action, so their customers couldn't pay online.
Deposits on estimates with options are priced on what the customer picked, so these deposit payments go through.
Reconnecting QuoteIQ Payments after disconnecting now links your existing account instead of showing an error.
Auto-Pay subscriptions can be canceled and edited like manual ones.
The customer portal's card form works on phones, including with the keyboard open. If a portal link has expired, the page now says so instead of calling it invalid.
Estimates and invoices
Accepted estimates no longer print as "Declined."
Customer-accepted draft estimates move to Accepted. Saving as a draft or marking as ready no longer undoes the customer's acceptance, and paying a deposit moves an open or draft estimate to Accepted.
Estimate follow-up automations stop when an estimate is moved to Draft or Archived.
InstaQuote prices are kept when you save the estimate or edit the invoice line in the app.
Going back from Preview keeps your invoice and estimate line items.
Customers can sign before paying a deposit when a signature is required.
Package order is kept after a refresh, and dragging a package to the top or bottom of the list now scrolls it.
Scheduling
"This and Future" date changes move the rest of a recurring series. Visits that were moved, completed or invoiced are no longer lost, and deleted visits no longer come back.
Inspections
Saved inspection PDFs open instead of showing a blank page.
Text answers show in the inspection editors. Before, stored text was hidden but still saved, so a report that looked blank could reopen with old text. Template previews now mark answers as "Pre-filled."
Client Hub and texting
In-app texting works again after an outage on September 28.
Client Hub texts that always failed for some customers now send.
Client Hub no longer asks you to request a number you already have when the number can't be loaded. It retries instead.
[Web app only] Calls answered in a web browser have sound both ways. If there's a problem with your microphone or speakers, QuoteIQ tells you.
Emails
Unsubscribe links in your emails work. They hadn't been working. Customers now click a button to confirm, and editing a contact no longer re-subscribes them.
QuoteIQ Sign
Emailed signing links open instead of showing an error.
Atlas and maps
[Web app only] Atlas route lines show on the map.
[Web app only] The first time you open Atlas after signing in, it opens on your customers instead of the ocean.
The Google credit on Street View images is no longer cut off.
Measuring map: tapping an address in search moves the map again, and the imagery timeline no longer errors.
Account
Notifications stop after signing out. A phone that someone signed out of kept getting that account's notifications.
[Web app only] The photo Edit button is hidden on the web, where photo editing isn't available. When an edit fails on a phone, you now see an error instead of a spinner that never stops.
On phones, "Edit Website" now only shows the "Desktop required" message, instead of also opening the website editor.
AI Assistant (Claude, ChatGPT and other connectors)
Payment setup links from the AI Assistant work. Before, they ended with "Connected on Stripe, but not saved in QuoteIQ."
Connectors that don't show a confirmation card (for example Cursor) now send the action to the approvals screen in the app, instead of leaving it "in progress".
Correction to the September 23–29 notes: those notes said Max used to include unlimited users. The accurate rule is that Max subscribers from before October 2026 keep 200 users, and new Max subscriptions include 20.
