How Do I Transfer My Florida Real Estate License?

Learn the Steps to Successfully Transfer Your License to Radius

Updated over 10 months ago

Your new Managing Broker at Radius will transfer your license on your behalf via our corporate brokerage account on the DBPR Online Services site, so please inform them when you are ready to make the transfer to Radius (the transfer is instantaneous). Once your license has been transferred successfully, you'll then want to inform your MLS/Association that you've switched brokerages. This article will walk you through how to confirm whether your license has been transferred and the steps to take to inform your MLS/Association that you've switched brokerages.

Step 1 - Verify Transfer of License to Radius

Note: You should receive an email from no-reply@myfloridalicense.com confirming that your license has been transferred to Radius.

  • Under Select Search Type, choose Search by Name

  • Click Search

  • Enter your full name under the Search by Individual Name option

  • Locate your name from the search results and select it.

  • Confirm the License Type field reflects Real Estate Broker or Sales.

  • From the bottom of the Licensee Details page, click View Related License Information.

  • On the Related License page, should display Radius Agent LLC under Related Party. This indicates your license has been successfully transferred.

Note: If your expected license transfer has not been completed, please reach out to your Brokerage Support or your Account Manager for assistance.

Step 2 - Notify Your MLS/Association of Brokerage Change

You must contact your MLS/Association and notify them that you have changed brokerages. Each MLS/Association has their own internal transfer form, usually available online.

  • Log into your specific MLS/Association website to download the form and fill out your information as well as the following broker information (if applicable):

Mailing Address

1221 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900, Miami, FL 33131
