Submitting a Referral File in SkySlope

To ensure your referral is processed accurately and without delays, it's important to correctly complete your SkySlope file. This guide walks you through each required section—from selecting the right checklist type to uploading final documents after closing. Follow these steps to help your file move smoothly through auditing and approval.

Complete the Referral Fee Agreement

  1. Download the Referral Fee Agreement (RFA)

  2. Email the completed form to support@radiusagent.com to obtain the Radius Managing Broker’s signature.

  3. Forward the RFA to the other brokerage for their managing broker to sign.

  4. Confirm one of the following with the recipient agent:

    • In contract, or

    • Has a signed listing, or

    • Has an accepted lease

  5. Create Your Referral File in SkySlope


Some Helpful Tips

  • Stay in touch with the agent you referred the client to.

  • Create a SkySlope file for the referral within 48 hours of acceptance.

  • To ensure fast payment, let the Radius Demands Desk know at least 7 days before closing so they can issue the commission demand.
    ⚠️ If we aren’t notified in time, it could delay your payment.

  • Include the following in your SkySlope file:

    • Property Address

    • Purchase Price

    • Gross Commission Due to Radius
      (Typically 2.5% of the purchase price, based on recipient broker's side)

    • Escrow Contact Info


How to Complete a Referral File in SkySlope

Follow these steps to properly fill out your SkySlope referral file:

Checklist & Representation Type

  • Under Checklist Type, select: Referral Agreement

  • Under Type (Representation), select: Other

  • Fill out as much information as possible on this screen.


Buyer & Seller Contact Tabs

  • Enter all available contact details.

  • If any required fields are missing and you're unsure, use placeholder data as needed (e.g., N/A, Unknown) to proceed.


Co-Op Agent Tab

  • Enter complete details for the Recipient Agent.

  • Include their brokerage’s Tax ID Number.


Commission Instructions Tab

  • Enter the commission percentage going to the Recipient Agent.

  • Complete all fields in the Referral Type section.

  • In the Commission Breakdown, subtract the $100 Radius Management Fee from your total.


Required Documents (Post-Closing)

Upload the following after the deal has closed:

  • Final Settlement Statement

  • W-9 from the Recipient Brokerage

  • Copy of the Commission Check or Wire Confirmation

Once all required documents are uploaded and marked complete, your file will be sent to the Auditor for review. After approval, the file will be archived.
